With a doubleheader sweep on Thursday over the Oklahoma RedHawks, the Omaha Royals have now won four straight. Of course, the biggest story on the night was once again Craig Brazell, who clubbed two more home runs in Omaha's second game, giving him three multi-HR games in his last four contests. RC recaps the rest of Thursday's action around the Royals' minor leagues inside.

The rain didn't come as expected, and Omaha got both games in today. Neal Musser picked up the win with two scoreless innings in Game 1, preserving his perfect ERA. Joey Gathright added two hits, but was also picked off and made an error. Gathright continues to sport an impressive walk to strikeout ratio, currently at 30/18.

The Royals rallied for seven runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to down Oklahoma and sweep the double-header. The inning featured a grand slam from Billy Butler and Craig Brazell's second home run of the game. With the two dingers, Brazell took his minor league-leading home run total to 18, and he's now hit six in his last four games. Mitch Maier contributed with two doubles, and Mike Aviles had a couple of hits. Billy Buckner threw a scoreless seventh inning in relief.

Another night, and another game that the Wranglers would probably like to forget. Carlos Rosa got beat up for the first time this year, not making it out of the second inning. Chris Lubanski has been held out for a couple of games in a row, so let's hope there is nothing wrong with him. The 21-25 Wranglers will head to Midland to start a three game series on Friday.

The Wilmington Blue Rocks had the night off on Thursday. The Carolina League North leaders take on Myrtle Beach on Friday to kick off a three game set.

Harold Mozingo followed up a disappointing outing last time out with a very strong performance on Thursday. Mozingo outdueled Dodgers top prospect Clayton Kershaw by allowing only four hits in 5.2 innings. Joseph Dickerson reached base twice and stole three bases, including a steal of home. Tyler Chambliss allowed two runs in the ninth inning before striking out the final batter to end the game.
