Edgar Osuna made just one start last week, but it was a dandy. The 22-year-old southpaw blanked the Arkansas Travelers for seven innings on Thursday night, scattering five hits and a walk while fanning six. On the season, Osuna is 2-1 with a perfect 0.00 ERA.
This was the second straight week that a Naturals' hurler won the award. Last week, Federico Castaneda took the honors after three outstanding appearances in relief.
Mike Moustakas debuted with the Naturals on Thursday, and the 2007 first rounder wasted no time making an impression. He went 3-for-4 in his first game with home runs in his first two at bats, and he finished the week hitting .471 ( 8-for-17) with three home runs, two doubles, and eight RBI.
