Greg Holland allowed seven runs in the top of the 12th, snapping a 2-2 tie as the O-Royals lost 10-2 to the RedHawks. Gaby Hernandez threw six innings, allowing one run on four hits while striking out five. Matt Herges and Josh Rupe followed Hernandez and combined to pitch five scoreless innings. Holland relieved Rupe in the 12th inning but was only able to record one out before Chris Hayes came in with the game out of reach.
On offense, Omaha had base runners all night but was unable to bring them home, stranding 16 men. Irving Falu was 3-for-6, and Alex Gordon went 2-for-5 and scored a run. Scott Thorman went 2-for-5, smacking a double and scoring a run, while Kurt Mertins also collected a two-bagger .
Omaha plays the third game of their four-game series against Oklahoma City Monday night.

The Naturals’ bats were hot Sunday, as every starter reached base safely in a 6-1 victory over the RockHounds. Tim Smith went 2-for-4, scoring two runs, and has recorded at least one hit in nine of his last 10 games. Mike Moustakas and Ernesto Mejia both connected on doubles, while Derrick Robinson and Anthony Seratelli both had multi-hit games.
Blake Johnson started and pitched 5.2 innings, allowing one run on four hits. The right-hander kept hitters off-balance all game, forcing 11 groundouts. Ben Swaggerty shut out Midland over the final 3.1 innings, earning his second victory of the year.
NW Arkansas goes for the sweep against Midland Monday night.

John Lamb had another dominant performance on Sunday, allowing only one run on two hits while ringing up nine hitters in Wilmington's 9-4 defeat of the Nationals. The left-hander has displayed electric stuff in his four starts for the Blue Rocks, compiling a 10.5 K/9 ratio and a 4:1 K/BB ratio.
At the plate, Salvador Perez was a home run shy of the cycle, going 3-for-5 and driving in three runs. Rey Navarro recorded his first multi-hit game for the Blue Rocks, finishing 3-for-5 with a double. Jamie Romak and Nick Francis both went 2-for-5 with a double. With a first inning single, Romak extended his hitting streak to 14 games. Juan Rivera was 2-for-3 and drew two walks, and Eric Hosmer finished 1-for-2, walking twice and scoring three runs.
The Blue Rocks continue their home stand Monday when they welcome the Kintson Indians for a three-game series.

The Bees rallied to score five runs in the top of the ninth, coming back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat the Silver Hawks, 5-2. Hilton Richardson reached base on an error to lead off the inning, and Joey Lewis drove him in with a triple. After a Rene Oriental fly out and Fernando Cruz strikeout, Jose Bonilla drove in pinch runner Deivy Batista to tie the game. Ryan Wood was then hit by a pitch, and Adam Frost drove in the two base runners with a triple, scoring on the play thanks to a throwing error.
Matt Mitchell pitched well, allowing an unearned run on four hits in 5.2 innings of work. Scott Kelley relieved him, retiring four straight batters, and Onassis Sirrett followed Kelley, allowing a solo shot in the eighth inning, but still earning the victory. Rodolfo Encarnacion pitched a perfect ninth for his second save of the season.
The Bees get an off day Monday before returning home to start a three game series against the Great Lakes Loons.
