Despite an extraordinary game by Wil Myers, the Burlington Bees on Thursday dropped a close contest in extra innings. The O-Royals also fell in extras, despite another home run by Alex Gordon. Wilmington, however, prevailed in a blowout, and the first place NW Arkansas Naturals were rained out but still managed to add half a game to their lead, thanks to another loss by Springfield.
