Kila Kaaihue hit a sacrifice fly in the top of the tenth, and the O-Royals held on to defeat the Zephyrs, 2-1. Kaaihue finished 1-for-4 on the day, while Alex Gordon and Jai Miller both roped doubles. Luis Mendoza pitched the first five innings, allowing one run on six hits while striking out four. Greg Holland and Louis Coleman each tossed two scoreless frames in relief, and Josh Rupe worked around a walk and an error to record his second save on the season.
The O-Royals return home Thursday to kick-off a four-game series against the Albuquerque Isotopes.

Nick Francis smashed a home run in the top of the ninth, scoring the go-ahead run in the Blue Rocks 3-2 victory over the Hillcats. Jarrod Dyson and Adam Frost both cracked doubles, while Wil Myers and Adrian Ortiz collected Wilmington's other two hits. Bryan Paukovits pitched seven strong innings, allowing two runs on six hits. Eric Basurto shut out Lynchburg over the last two innings to earn his second win on the season.
The Blue Rocks play the second game of their series against the Hillcats Thursday night.

Jones finished 3-for-5 on the day, and Murray Watts went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBIs. Tim Ferguson, Justin Trapp, Geulin Beltre, and Jacob Kuebler all contributed two hits to the Chukars attack. Leondy Perez pitched the first four innings, allowing five runs on five hits while fanning four. Brian Peacock tossed three scoreless innings in relief of Perez, and Chad Blauer followed Peacock with four shutout innings to end the game.
Idaho Falls hits the road Thursday to start a two-game series against the Orem Owls.

Chas Byrne pitched two shutout innings of relief, but Burlington could not rally back. On offense, Ryan Stovall went 2-for-4 and drove in a run, while Adrian Martinez and Derek Rodriguez each collected an extra-base hit and an RBI.
The Burlington Royals continue their series against the Danville Braves Thursday.
