Clint Robinson went deep twice, helping the Naturals past the RoughRiders, 7-1. Paulo Orlando also had two hits and jacked a dinger, and Johnny Giavotella finished 2-for-5 with a double. Eric Hosmer was 0-for-5. Danny Duffy threw six strong innings, giving up one run on five hits while fanning eight batters. Ben Swaggerty, Brandon Sisk, and Henry Barrera each tossed a scoreless frame in relief, punching out a combined six batters.
NW Arkansas will look to sweep Frisco when the clubs finish their series Friday.

L: Sugar Ray Marimon (2-5, 6.61)
The Bees' bats were quiet Wednesday, only mustering three hits in a 3-0 shutout loss to the LumberKings. Carlo Testa smacked a double, while Jacob Kuebler and Hilton Richardson collected the other two hits. Sugar Ray Marimon pitched the first six innings, allowing three runs on six hits while striking out four. Matt Mitchell and Matt Morizio each threw a scoreless inning in relief.
Burlington looks to avoid the three-game sweep against Clinton Friday night.

The Chukars' bullpen pitched 4.1 shutout innings, preserving a 7-5 victory over the Ghosts. Santiago Garrido started and allowed five runs on eight hits over the first 4.2 innings. Jordan Roualdes, Nick Graffeo, and Brennon Martin combined to hold Ghosts scoreless to end the game, punching out six batters. At offense, Juan Polonia went 2-for-4 with a double, and Murray Watts smacked his ninth long-ball of the season. Justin Trapp also had two hits, and Lane Adams cracked a triple.
Idaho Falls continues its homestand when the club faces the Raptors Friday.

L: Willian Avinazar (4-2, 2.25)
The Burlington Royals struggled offensively, getting shut out by the Bristol White Sox, 1-0. Adrian Martinez and Alex Llanos accounted for the entire Burlington offense with two hits apiece. Willian Avinazar threw seven solid frames, giving up one run on five hits while striking out four batters. Ryan Wood closed out the game by tossing two scoreless innings.
Burlington plays the second game of its three game series against Bristol Friday night.
Rookie: AZL Royals 7, Giants 4
W: Allen Caldwell (2-1, 2.19)
The AZL Royals capitalized on four errors, going on to defeat the Giants, 7-4. Mike Antonio contributed three hits, while the rehabbing Josh Fields went 2-for-4, adding a double and two RBIs. Jose Rodriguez bashed a triple, and Hector Moreno added a double. Robinson Yambati gave up four runs on nine hits while striking out six over 5.1 innings before being removed for Allen Caldwell, who shut out the Giants for the next 1.2 innings. Chase Boruff threw two no-hit innings to end the game.
The AZL Royals square off against the AZL Reds Friday.
